Christians Together in Bideford and District

is committed to encouraging ecumenical and joint activities amongst the churches and to presenting a united Christian witness in the area.

Our logo appears in the top corner of our web pages.  The variety of colours recognises that we have many different ways of expressing our Christianity but we come together under the umbrella of our common faith in Christ.

We are found in the west of North Devon around the River Torridge Estuary; famous for it's links with Grenville, Kingsley and  Kipling.  Bideford is an ancient sea port, still operating as an export base for locally mined clay, trawler fishing and the operating base for links to Lundy Island.

Our membership includes the majority of churches in the district and there is increasing co-operation in worship and community projects.  In turn, we are members of Churches Together in Devon.

We actively support Christian Aid, whose activities are included in the Calendar Section, One World Week and Fairtrade.
