What is Christians Together? What’s it all about then?
We are an affiliation of local Churches from many different denominations in the district, working closely with the numerous Christian outreaches based in the Bideford area. Our district covers the town of Bideford itself and stretches from Abbotsham in the west to Appledore and Westward Ho! in the east, and covers the many rural parishes in the area.
We are located in the Western corner of North Devon. Bideford is famous for its links with, not only Charles Kingsley; but also Rudyard Kipling, Richard Grenville and less commonly known...... Sir Walter Raleigh!

What is CTBD doing for the local area and in particular for the people in the most need?
CTBD has been instrumental in establishing the Bideford Street Pastors and the Harbour Bideford Support Centre. The Pastors are regularly recruiting for more volunteers and can regularly be see on patrol in the town centre.
CTBD spearheaded the Bideford Foodbank project back in the summer of 2012. We have helped in excess of 2000 families and individuals since then, at that moment of need when there was more likely no other means of them putting a hot meal on the table. Due to the ever increasing number ... of homeless people and those less well off families in the Bideford and surrounding areas, we are always in need of funds and volunteers. You can donate non perishable, still in date foods at our Foodbank centre currently based at :-
34 Mill Street, Bideford, EX39 2JJ until 30th April when we will be moving to new premises. We are open Monday, Wednesday & Friday. 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. (07542175785)
